Pair the Planet is a wearable art brand striving to end food insecurity through each purchase. 10% of revenue is donated to Just Food KS, a community resource and food bank for residents in Douglas County, Kansas. Through our partnership with Just Food KS, and our donations to the Lawrence Community Shelter, we have made efforts to address a real problem in our community.

Every pair and piece is designed on a canvas using acrylic paints and pens. Gravity is a large part of the look of these vibrant prints, as well as hot air. These techniques allow for a drip pattern that amazes viewers with its complex patterns. The art is uploaded to a printing service and mirrored, branded and sent off for production. 

Pair the Planet socks are made with the highest quality materials, and provide a comfortable fit while showing a bit of style and supporting a cause. You can rest easy knowing that each step you take in a Pair is one that causes reverberations in your community.

In 2024, our founder, Ben, had an idea while making acrylic drip art to put the designs on socks. He tirelessly worked on the way to work and on breaks and at home to create designs and a website to showcase the designs. If it weren't for his now-girlfriend, Kay he would have given up. She was the only customer for the first two years of business.

Then, Ben was browsing at a local everything shop, The Third Planet one day and wondered if they would sell his socks there. They bought 30 pairs for $240 and Ben went that day to deliver a $24 check and a couple pairs to Just Food KS, a local food bank.

With a re-launch in 2026, and a focus on sustainable solutions for socks and business, we are proud to announce a partnership with Just Food KS. We donate 10% of revenue to the shelter, and personally deliver the check at the end of the month. We have also donated 20+ pairs to Lawrence community shelters. We hope to continue finding sustainable solutions to give people warmth and nutrition.
